When I started painting "Between Me and the Stars," I didn’t set out with a clear plan. Instead, I allowed the brush to guide me, layering colors and textures to create an 8 x 10 abstract work that feels both personal and expansive. This painting is about the spaces between. These are gaps that hold light, thought, and possibility.

The process of creating this piece was meditative, like stargazing on a quiet night. I imagined the vastness of the universe, but also the intimacy of standing beneath it. The painting came together almost like constellations forming a story. It’s not just about what’s seen; it’s about what’s felt.

What Does It Mean to You?

Abstract art invites interpretation. For me, "Between Me and the Stars" feels like a moment of connection to the world, to myself, to something larger. But what do you see? A horizon meeting the heavens? The quiet hum of a night sky? Or something entirely your own?

This painting is a reminder that the unknown isn’t something to fear. It’ is something to explore. Just like the stars, abstract art offers endless possibilities, inviting you to find your own meaning within its depths.
