My Art Featured in: Willie Mays interview by Derek Jeter and Ken Griffey Jr. for Fox Sports Major League Baseball (MLB) All Star Game televised on Fox Sports.

San Francisco Giants Willie Mays is interviewed by New York Yankees, Derek Jeter and Ken Griffey Jr. (who played for the Seattle Mariners and Cincinnati Reds, along with a short stint with the Chicago White Sox) for Fox Sports MLB All Star Game. Sports Artist John Robertson’s art is used as a sports painting backdrop for the 3 minute interview that was shown on Fox Sports during the MLB All Star game played at the Giants stadium.

The California Nature Art Museum

 My art being installed at the California Nature Art Museum ( previously The Wildling Museum in Solvang, Ca. for an upcoming group show.  I had 65 small, expressive and impressionistic oil paintings for the exhibition.  Quote from the museum; “Our upcoming exhibition, 'Bio/Mass' featured an inspiring group of eleven contemporary artists who have transformed their fascination with deep observations of their individual environments into works that help us to see the beauty in the details of our world, celebrating both quiet and dramatic moments in nature”.

Artist at Santa Paula Art Museum Painting Demonstration and Talk

My wife and I had a two person retrospective art show of our work featuring over one hundred pieces of art at the Santa Paula Art Museum. We both had gallery talks and walk-through. As a separate event I was asked to demonstrate my large-scale painting style. The quality of sound is not very good but you will get an idea of my painting technique. I am using a brick laying trowl to apply the paint.

Basketball paintings created for NBA Fox Sports Commercial

Fox Sports Net had me create six basketball paintings for their televisied NBA Basketball games throughout the season. The commercial was used in the cities where the NBA played. The expressive basketball art uses splattering and running paint thrown on the 7 foot paintings canvas. The quality is not the best but you can get the idea.

Agricultural Museum Art Show

We attend the Ventura County Fair every year and one of our fxavorite activities is watching the youth show the animals they raise. I created approximately twenty pieces for our regional agricultural museum. We hung them like banners or tapestries from the rafters. It was a way for the visitors of the museum to be emersed in the art.

Here I am in my studio painting with a brush in a very expressive way. How I start is drawing and painting an image that I like and then come back over it with black and white paint in a very expressive and impressionistic style.
