When I stand in front of a scene, I’m not just painting what I see; I’m painting what I feel. It's not about capturing a tree or a hill just because it’s there. More Than What Meets the Eye
With “Gleesome Saunter over Fields,” I didn’t set out to make a picture of a field. I wanted to put down the feeling of being in that space, the energy of the earth, and the way the sky felt heavy yet full of life. Using a palette knife helped me create those thick, textured strokes that bring out the rawness of the moment.
